Dr. Irena Bekhtel has been practicing Optometry for more than 20 years. She graduated from the University of Miami in 1993 with a degree in Chemical Engineering then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale. She completed her specialty training in contact lens fittings at the Broward Eye Center in 1998. In the last two decades, Dr. Bekhtel has practiced in Florida, Massachusetts, and California, providing comprehensive eye exams and specialty contact lens fitting to thousands of patients. In addition, Dr. Bekhtel has also co-managed cataract and refractive surgeries with ophthalmologists. In Dr. Bekhtel's practice, we believe in treating all our patients the way we would treat our family: with kindness, compassion, honesty, and respect. We provide special care to our elderly and disabled patients.
